Lawrence E. “Larry” Sullivan, 80, of Elm City, died Wednesday, March 1, 2023.

Funeral, Sunday, 2:00 PM, Tabernacle Baptist Church, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Interment, Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Larry taught Sunday School for over 50 years and worshipped at Westview Baptist Church and Tabernacle Baptist Church. He helped with Awana and had been a school board member of Wilson Christian Academy. He was owner of Sullivan Photography.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Barkley Sullivan; daughters, Cindy Whitley (Jeff) of Middlesex and Kathy Kelly (Mike) of Minot, ND; grandchildren, Angela Braswell (John), Lauren Joyner and Payton Kelly; brother, Gray Sullivan (Terri) of Martinsville, VA; mother, Kathleen Clark Sullivan of Rocky Mount.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Linwood Sullivan.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1815 Airport Blvd, Wilson, NC 27893 or to Wilson Christian Academy, 1820 Airport Blvd, Wilson, NC 27893.
