Joyce King Ray

Betty “Joyce” King Ray, 82, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021. She was born January 19, 1938 to the late George and Henrietta King. Joyce loved her family, picking up shells at the beach, and tending to her flowers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Ray, and son Calvin Douglas Ray.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son Troy O. Ray; sisters Emily Strickland (Dink) and Linda Leimone; a grandson Charlie Ray.

A graveside service will be held Monday, January 18, 2021 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Brandon Dees officiating at 11:00AM.
