John C. Tinsley

John Clarence Tinsley, 60, died Friday. He was a native of Colombia, S.C. and lived in Rocky Mount for 12 years. He was a loom fixer for A. Scotland, Inc. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Gay Yost Funeral Chapel by the Rev. L. E. Godwin. Burial will be in Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Frances Tucker Tinsley of the home; his mother, Mrs. J. L. Tinsley of Colombia, S.C.; three sons, Fred A. and John E. Tinsley, both of Rocky Mount and Leroy Tinsley of Orland Park, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred T. Fulmer and Mrs. Joe Ann Rice, Both of Rocky Mount; one brother, Charles O. Tinsley of Colombia, S.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Mills of Norfolk, Va. and Mrs. Nancy Craver of Winter Haven, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.
