JIM ROBERT WHITLEY

Jim Robert Whitley, 75, died July 12, 1974. He was son of the late Boyger Whitley and Jane Pulley Whitley. He was born Nov. 15, 1898, in Nash County. He made his home at 1017 Williford ;Street, and was a retired farrier, and a deacon and charter member of the Full Gospel Fellowship Church. Funeral services will be conducted today at 4 p.m. from Johnson Funeral Home by the Rev. Johnnie Bowen. Burial will be in Rocky Mount Memorial Park. 22 Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jane Waters and Mrs. Ann Roberson, both of Rocky Mount, and Mrs. Dummie Baines of Wilson; two 4sons, William and Oliver Whitley, both of Rocky Mount; 35 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
