Jerry Alvin Pittman

Jerry Alvin Pittman, 59, passed away Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004. He born Feb. 18, 1945, in Nash County, son of the late Joseph Willie and Bertha Bone Pittman. Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Ashley Pittman, and a brother, Tommy William Pittman.
He leaves to cherish his memory, five stars, Maggie Lee Baker and husband, Randolph “Shine” of Nashville, Kathaleen P. Baker of Rocky Mount, Delilah P. Bullock and husband, James of Rocky Mount, Betty Jean P. Blackford and husband, Tom of Rocky Mount, and Chrystal P. Hare and husband, Wayne of Zebulon; two brothers, Joe Pittman and wife, Daisy of Rocky Mount, and Marcelllus L. Pittman and wife, Sarah of Rocky Mount; sister-in-law, Doris Pittman; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Kathy Rice of Momeyer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today in the chapel of Bowling Funeral Home, with Pastor officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
