Jean Hughes Mosley

Jean Hughes Mosley, age 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 13, 2021. Born in Bertie County, NC on January 17, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Willie W. Hughes and Hazel Alma Pierce Hughes.

Jean graduated from the School of Nursing at Parkview Hospital. She served as a registered nurse in multiple capacities and retired after 41 years of dedicated service in the medical field. Jean loved her children and grandchildren. She was a woman of great faith and was selfless. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Michelle Mosley Johnson and Bridgette Mosley both of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Hobbs Johnson and fiancé, Caitlyn Brandt, Caroline Johnson, Ashley Webb, and Adrienne Mosley.

A Private Family Service to celebrate Jean’s life will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jean’s memory to Nash UNC Health Care Systems Hospice & Palliative Care, 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
