Janette Vanhook Hollifield

Janette Vanhook Hollifeld of Nashville, N.C. passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015.
Janette is survived by her husband, James M. Hollifield; daughter, Zandra Bontrager of Elm City and a special granddaughter, Sarah Metters of Nashville; three sons, Troy Lindsey of Nashville, Rudy Lindsey of Gainsville, GA, Ted Lindsey of Rocky Mount; step son, W.J. Hollifield of Cary; brother, John “Shorty” Vanhook of Nashville; three sisters, Shirley Overton of Kinston, Faye Edwards of Nashville, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 7-8:30p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home on Highway 58 South, Nashville, NC. A graveside service will be held 10:30a.m.. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Woody Jones officiating.
