Iva Taylor Edwards, 83, went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 23, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Taylor; sister, Dorothy Carpenter; surrogate parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Vick; and husband, Jefferson G. Edwards.
She leaves her daughter, Cathy Battle; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Alyssa and Jamie Hunt; nephew and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Carpenter and family.
Wake will be Tuesday, January 26th from 6 to 8 pm at Johnson Funerals and Cremations on English Road. Funeral will be 2 pm Wednesday, January 27th at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
