Irla Carpenter Worrell

Irla Ree Carpenter Worrell, 76, passed away, Wednesday, October 22, 2008. She was born, May 31, 1932 in Nash County. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Etta Horner Carpenter. Irla Ree was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her church and singing. She was preceded in death by her husband James “Ed” Worrell.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Vickie Baker of Rocky Mount, one sister, Estelle Land of Spring Hope, one grandson, Chad Baker and wife Angie and one great-grandson, Riley Baker.
Funeral Service will be, Friday, October 24. 2008 at 7:00PM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Woody Jones officiating. Visitation will follow, after the service. Burial will be Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 1:00PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
