RED OAK – Hilary Rossow McKenney, age 83, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020. Born Wilkin County, MN, on August 4, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph V. Rossow and Mary S. Rossow. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hunter Ray McKenney; daughter, Stacey McKenney Cunningham; sons, Michael Hunter McKenney and Eric Christopher McKenney; sisters, Joanne Leverone, Ruth Mattson, Maureen Dickinson and Judith Rossow.

Hilary leaves behind to cherish her memory; a daughter, Erin McKenney; sisters, Rita Bruin of CA, Kay Rossow of FL, Deanna Barton of Iowa and Jeanne Rossow of FL; brother, Richard Rossow of FL. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory her grandchildren, Brianne McKenney, Hilary McKenney Davis and her husband, Colby, Jenna McKenney, Leah McKenney, Marleen Jefferson, Mason Jefferson, Trey Cunningham, Derek Cunningham and Micah Cunningham; great-grandchildren, Christopher Davis and Oliver Davis. Hilary is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Brenda Boswell McKenney of Red Oak; sons-in-law, George Thomas Cunningham, II and Roy Allen Jefferson of Red Oak.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 331 Hammond Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with Father Tim Meares celebrating. Burial will follow the Mass at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
