Gracie Lee Hill

Gracie Lee Pope Hill, 84, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023. She was born November 10, 1938 in Nash County to the late Jacob and Agnes Langley Pope. Gracie loved her family, flowers, gardening, cooking, birds, and most of all Jesus. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by , her infant son; brothers, Jacob and Elwood Pope; sisters, Dolly, Myrtle, and Nellie; mother- in- law and father-in-law, David and Addie Hill.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 66 years, Charles Hill; three sons, Sherwood, Chuck, and Brian (Kelly) Hill; brothers, Bruce Pope (Sue); sisters, Lois Proctor, Doris Marks (Walter), and Carol Turner (Tommy); brother-in-law, Mitchell Hill; sister-in-law, Carolyn Weeks; grandchildren, Zach Hill (Kerry) and Paige Cribb (Randall); great-grandchild, Chandler Cribb; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, 2:00pm at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
