Grace Virginia Nichols Proctor

Grace Nichols Proctor, age 84, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019. Born in Wilson County, NC on October 21, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Earl Nichols and Acca Elizabeth Webb Nichols. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Winifred Manning.
Grace leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband, James Thomas Proctor, step-daughter, Sylvia Rivera and husband Richard, step-son, James R. Proctor and wife Cheri. She is also survived by her step-grandchildren, Ashley N. Proctor Gahagen and husband Joe and Nicholas R. Proctor.
Grace was a caregiver for her parents, she also worked for Carolina Telephone for 42 years.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November, 21, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Johnson Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor David Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
