Glenn S Rushing

Glenn Sylvester Rushing, 66, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017. Glenn was preceded in death by his loving wife Christine Rushing of 40 wonderful years. They went to heaven together, the same day. Glenn is preceded by Clyde Rushing his father, Lean Rushing, his mother, Lucille Rushing, his sister, Thomas Rushing, his brother.

He left behind, loving sister, Mary Jane Hopkins, brother, Edsel Rushing. They will miss him dearly.

Glenn was in the US Army for 20 years. He also worked at Fontain for many years. The three people close to his heart was, Mary Ann Joyner, Donna Smith Joyner and Jonathan Moss. He has a lot of nieces and nephews that he loved very much, they will miss him very much. Glenn will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 7:00-8:30 PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home of Nashville. Funeral service will be held Monday, January 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Harvest Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
