WILSON – Gina Lynn Gupton Moore, age 55, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022. She was born in Nash County, NC on February 17, 1967. Gina was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Ann Manning Gupton.

A woman of great faith, Gina was a member of Gospel Missionary Baptist Church where she loved singing for her Lord and Savior in the church choir. She retired following many years of dedicated service from Cornerstone Bank in Wilson. Blessed with a giving spirit, Gina made sure to always put others before herself as in giving thou shall receive. She loved spending time with her family, decorating and preparing for her favorite holiday which was Christmas, and especially adored her children and grandchildren. A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many, Gina will be forever loved and missed by all those who knew her.

Gina is survived by her husband, Johnny Ray Moore; her daughters, Lauren Moore Gall and husband, David, of Wilson and Sarah Lynn Moore of Wilson; her grandchildren, Gabriel Gall and Isaac Gall; her father, Larry Clayton Gupton, Sr. of Rocky Mount; her brothers, Larry Clayton “Clay” Gupton, Jr. of Rocky Mount and James Wesley Gupton of Shallotte; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Gina’s life will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Allen Mills officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
