George Richard Pridgen

George Richard Pridgen, 78, retired employee of Burlington Industries, died Wednesday.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home chapel, Rocky Mount with the Rev. Ray Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Surviving: wife, Mrs. Iris Stancil Pridgen; son, Rodney Pridgen of Rocky Mount; daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Rhodes of Rocky Mount; brothers, William Tiny Pridgen of Rocky Mount and Coy Pridgen of Nashville; four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday; other times at the home of Rodney, 650 Country Club Drive.
