Frances T. Tinsley

Frances Tucker Tinsley, 87, died Saturday, July 4, 1998. She was born Nov. 2, 1910, in South Carolina, daughter of the late Robert and Sula Knight Tucker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Tinsley. She was a member of the Rocky Mount Bible Church.
Surviving: daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred and Hoyt Fulmer of Easley, S.C., and JoAnn and Melvin Rice Sr., of Rocky Mount; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Emma Tinsley of Rocky Mount, Lee and Louise Tinsley of Golcanda, Ill., Fred A. Tinsley of Wilson; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruby Redd of Spartanburg, S.C.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with the Rev. Walter Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home, Sunset Avenue, and other times at 3221 Hawthorne Road, Rocky Mount.
