Elmer Lee Pierce

Elmer Lee Pierce, 81, died recently.
He was born May 30, 1913, in Edgecombe County, son of the late Wiley and Rosa Robinson Pierce. He was a member of Sharpsburg Baptist Church.
Surviving: step-sons, L.C. Pierce of Smithfield, Glenn Pierce, Ronnie Pierce and Billy Ray Pierce, all of Rocky Mount; sister, Elizabeth Dozier of Rocky Mount; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, with Dr. Tim Bland officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home, Sunset Ave.
