With her loving family by her side, Jeanette Daughtridge Ellis passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
Jeanette’s journey began 75 years ago in Nash County, NC as a daughter born to Johnny Herman and Lillie Winstead Daughtridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret “Bogit” Mitchell; brothers-in-law, Gene Veilette, Curt Robbins, and Jimmy Mitchell; and a much loved furbaby named Mandy.

Jeanette leaves a lifetime of treasured memories for her devoted husband of almost 56 years, Tim Ellis; sons, Jason Ellis (Stacy) and Tony Ellis (Bahar), all of N. Myrtle Beach; siblings, Virginia “Aunt Gina” Robbins of Greensboro, Diane “DeDe” Lascallette (Randy) of Rocky Mount, Tommy Daughtridge (Mary Grace) of Nashville, and Rhonda “Wink” Bone (Jeff) of Rocky Mount.
She was an especially proud Nanny to her grandchildren, Hunter and Payton Ellis, and Madison and Blair Ellis, and grandpups, Penny, Celeste, and Blue.
She will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, church family and friends, and other extended relatives.

A service will be held Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 2:00PM at Northside Church, 1660 Beaver Pond Dr., Rocky Mount, NC 27804. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00PM.
