Dorothy Louise Tyndal Gardner

Dorothy Louise Gardner, age 79 of Nashville, passed away Wednesday, June 07, 2017. She was born September 18, 1937 in Edgecombe County to the late Gilbert and Cora Proctor Tyndall. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Willie and Isaac Tyndall, Ernest Proctor and grandson David Glenn Gardner.

She is survived by her spouse Robert Gardner; son, Robert Glenn Gardner (Michelle); two daughters, Sandra Gardner Manning (Mike) and Patricia Gardner Proctor (William); two sisters, Barbara Tyndall Davis and Hazel Tyndall Keel (Leon); twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
