Dorothy "Cheryl" Melton Rawls

Dorothy Cheryl Melton Rawls, 53, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. She was born November 20, 1963. Cheryl loved her family, and her fur baby Max.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Connie Melton.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, William Rawls; father, Roland Melton; daughters Ashley Christina Rawls, Taylor Nichole Rawls; brother, Joseph Rocky Farmer; sister, Anna Jean Lindsay Melton; mother in law, Jackie Dawes Smith; sister in law, Christy Parker; brother in law, Joe Turner (Brandy); many nieces and nephews, and best friend, Karen Parker Johnson.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 16, 2017
from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
A service to celebrate her life will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ray Vick officiating. Burial will be held at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
