Doris Keen Pittman

Doris K. Pittman, 71, passed away Monday, June 15, 2009. She was born October 17, 1937. Doris was the daughter of the late, Joseph Keen and Addie Blackmon. Her hobbies included, crocheting, knitting and quilting. She was a loving, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie W. Pittman, Sr.
She loves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Teresa Pittman Taylor and husband Glenn of Sandy Cross, three sons, T.W. Pittman and companion, Belinda Wilson, Roger Pittman and wife Lynne, Tony Pittman, all of Rocky Mount, one brother Jack Keen of Florida, one sister, Dianne Gay of Nashville, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 12:30-2:00 pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Rocky Mount Mausoleum.
