Clayton "Clay" W Clark, Jr

Clayton “Clay” W. Clark, Jr., age 58, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. Clay was born in Wilson County, NC on March 5, 1960. He was preceded in death by his father, C. Wayne Clark, Sr.
Clay was a godly man, who had a heart for the Lord. God was first in Clay’s earthly life, and now Clay will be forever with the Lord.
Clay is temporarily separated from his loving wife, Vivian; their beautiful children, Dustin Clark and wife, Katie, and Holly Denton and husband, Christopher; precious grandson, Dillon Clark; devoted parents Shirley and Moses Hayes; and his caring sisters, Dolly Dickens, Cathy Clark and Gina Goddard and husband, Terry. Clay will be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended loving family and dear friends.
A Funeral Service in memory of Clay will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with Pastor Bryan Creech and wife, Karen, of Emmanuel FWB Church officiating. Interment will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, 4454 Dortches Blvd., Rocky Mount, NC 27804. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
