Clarence Earl Womble

Clarence Earl Womble, 91, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 13, 2020. Born October 12, 1928 to the late Clarence and Matilda Carter Womble. Bo loved his family, church, and working in his yard. He retired after a long career at Burlington Industries. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Faye Womble of 69 years.

Father to Brenda Cohee (Bob), Greg Womble (Debbie), Dennis Womble (Charlene) and Connie Womble McCann (late Tom McCann). Grandfather to Stephanie Ellis, Mike Womble, Jason Womble (Jaclyn), Chad Womble (Chelsea), Rebecca Smith (Joe), and Donielle Marsigli (Mark). Great grandfather to Lee and Cassidy Sugg, Caroline Womble, Luke Marsigli, Lillie Harris and Carly Womble.

A family graveside service will be held with Rev. Steve Roberson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sunset Avenue Baptist Church 3732 Sunset Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
