Charles Jonathan Worrell, 53, passed away in his home surrounded by family on Friday, August 13, 2021. He was a loving and devoted husband and father and a dear friend to many. He is survived by his wife Donna Worrell, two daughters Brittney (Blake), Jessica Dawn (David), two sons Jerry (Brianna), Braxton (McKennah), three grandchildren Malaki, Shayden, and Isaac. He has a large family of brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and mother-in-law. Jonathan had a love of music. It was a big part of his life. He was a drummer, referred to as Ozzy, for many bands. He has a lot of special band mates and friends that were supportive of him. He will be dearly missed. The visitation will be held at Castalia Baptist Church Hwy 58, Castalia on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, 4454 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Carlyle Hall Jr. officiating. The family has requested that all family and friends wear a mask at the visitation to follow CDC guidelines.
