Catherine Walker Pridgen

Catherine “Cathy” Walker Pridgen, 67, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017. She was born October 26, 1949 in Nash County to the late Linwood and Christine Winstead Walker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Walker, brother-in-law, Jimmy Spain, and mother-in-law, Myrtie Pridgen.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons; Donald “Donny” B. Pridgen II and Jeremy “Chad” Pridgen (Cinde); two sisters, Beverly W. Spain and Jackie W. Turner (Ray) of Snellville, Georgia; grandchildren, Heather, Ashley, Zachary, Lindsey, Luke, Carter and Claire Pridgen; and Aunt Mamie Ester Weaver and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Sunset Avenue Baptist Church. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Robin Fisher officiating. Burial will be at Rocky Mount Memorial park.
