Carl N. Sills, Sr

Carl “Buddy” Newsome Sills Sr., 65, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021. He was born July 7, 1955 in Nash County to the late Carl Adam Sills and Janie Baines Sills.
Carl is survived by his wife of 46 years, Charlotte Fulford Sills; son, Carl “Little Buddy” Newsome Sills, Jr.; grandson, Brent Sills; brothers, Clay Sills, Dana Sills (Trina), James Sills; sister, Theresa Sills and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 6:00 – 7:30 PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 7:30 PM with Rev. Daniel Moss and Rev. Gerald Parker officiating. Burial will be held Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
