Billie Maydock Evans, Sr

Billy Maydock Evans, Sr., age 81, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017. Born in Nash County, NC on March 1, 1936, he was the son of the late Raleigh Elmo and Edna Mae Armstrong Evans. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Raye Evans.

Billy leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 51 years, Billie Raye Evans; and son, Billy Maydock Evans, Jr. and wife Crystal. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Amber Evans, Jenna Evans, Dylan Evans and Joshua Cadena; great-granddaughter, Peyton Edmundson; brothers, Jack Evans, Elmer Evans and Charlie Evans and wife Linda from Florida and sisters; Tempie Tolston and Fannie Harper and husband Bobby from Louisiana.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Johnson Funeral home. A funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Johnson funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Tony Bossolona officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive family and friends’ other times at 125 Crestview Road Rocky Mount, NC.
