Betty Jean Satterfield Casper

Betty Jean Satterfield Casper, 69, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 24, 2016. She was born June 7, 1946 in Nash County to the late Willie and Cora Bass Satterfield. Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed crafts, had a very giving heart, and she was always a lady. Betty will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marie May.
Betty is survived by her husband of 54 years, Red Casper; son, Kenny Casper (Kim); daughter, Angela Phillips (Donald); grandchildren, Hunter, Haley, Amanda, and Alyssa; four great grandchildren; brother, Jamie Anderson (Cathy); sisters, Shelia Wall, Nessie Wolfe (Rick); and many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016 at The Chapel of Memories Mausoleum of Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Dal Coppedge officiating.
