Arthur Ray Manning, 77, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023. He was born July 23, 1945 in Edgecombe County to the late James “JP” Manning and Mary Jane Joyner Manning. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Judy Faye Manning and step father Joel Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Angela Wood (Charles) and Annette Wood (Scottie); brothers, Phillip (Julia), Johnny (Kay), Linwood (Curley) and Stanley Wayne Manning; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A visitation with family and friends will be Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 1:00-2:00pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Home Care and Hospice.
