ROCKY MOUNT – Anne Rowland Taylor, age 73, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020. Born in Wilson County, NC on February 18, 1947, she was the daughter of the late James Jordan Rowland and Mabel Barbee Rowland. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Clinton Taylor.

Anne is survived by her daughters, Julia Taylor Whitehurst and her husband, Robert of Rocky Mount, Susan Taylor Clevenger and her husband, Matthew “Digger” of Farmington, AR; her grandchildren, Sara Whitehurst and Taylor Whitehurst of Rocky Mount, Sydney Clevenger and Abigail “Abbey” Clevenger of Farmington, AR; brother, Thomas Jordan Rowland and wife, Beth, of Lancaster, PA; brother-in-law, Al Blount of Shiloh, NC; three nephews and two nieces.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Pastor Walt Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
