BATTLEBORO: Alvis Paul Draper, 57, died Friday. Sept. 11, 1992. He was born Oct. 9. 1934, in Wilson County, son of the late Charles Henry and Lucy Harrison Draper. Surviving: wife. Barbara Prldgen Draper of the home; daughter, Anna Elizabeth Ward of Wilmington; sons, Thor Vaughan of Rocky Mount, Kevin Draper of Kenly and Todd Draper; grandchild, Christine Vaughan of Rocky Mount; brothers, Duke Draper of Elm City and Herbert Draper of South Carolina. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home, Sunset Avenue, with the Rev. Billy Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Friends may call at the home.
