Alton Murral Eason, 81, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020. He was born January 20, 1939 in Greene County to the late James and Rosa Ginn Eason. Alton loved his family, riding horses, and racing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Wanda Pridgen and husband Bruce; only grandchild Marcus A. Joyner; step-grandchildren Donny and Chad Pridgen; great-grandchildren Brooklynn and Easton Joyner; step great-granddaughter Cali Pridgen; several nieces,nephews, and special Neice Danielle Whaley .

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 1,2020, 3:00 pm at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Alfred Tyson officiating.
