Alice Hathaway Moss

Alice Hathaway Moss, 87, died Wednesday, March 23, 2005. She was born Feb. 18, 1918, in Nash County, daughter of the late Nick and Ellen Edwards Hathaway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Othie C. Moss and two sons, Wallace glover and Othie Moss.
She was a member of Ridgecrest Worship Center. She enjoyed reading her Bible and cooking. And she had a special love for children.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Brenda M. Rollans of Rocky Mount,; her four sons, Dallas Glover, Ivon Glover and Danny Glover, all of Rocky Mount; Terry Glover of Wilmington; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at 7 pm Friday, March 25, 2005 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 1912 Sunset Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The Rev. Tim Lanier and the Rev. David Whitley will be officiating. A visitation will follow immediately after the service.
The burial will be at 11 am Saturday, March 26, 2005 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ridgecrest Worship Center Building Fund, 1120 West Mount Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
