MRS. MARY RUTH BASS

Mary Ruth Radford Bass, 86, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024. She was born August 30, 1938 in Nash County to the late Percy and Lillian Bartholomew Radford. In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James Billy Bass; two sons, Daniel “Red” Bass and David Wayne Bryant; several brothers and sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Charles Ray Bryant (Becky); daughters, Marie Young and Denise Bass Faircloth (David); special friend, Debbie Sessoms; grandchildren, Crystal Bryant Coley and Patricia Bryant Copeland; seven, great-grandchildren and grand-dog, Heidi.

A graveside service will be held Monday, October 28, 2024 at 2:00pm with Rev. Vernon Potter officiating at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
