Bennie Louie Wright

Bennie Louie Wright, 81, retired employee of Seaboard Coast Line Railroad, died Saturday.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home chapel, Rocky Mount, with Phillip Searcy officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7.to 9 p.m. Monday, and other times at the home, 1113 Clark Street.
Surviving: wife, Mrs. Hilda Ange Wright; two sons, William “Bill” Wright of Durham and Donald E. “Gene” Wright of Roanoke Rapids; three daughters, Mrs. Hilda Grey Hamilton and Mrs. Rebecca W. Long, both of Rocky Mount, and Mrs. Brenda Grant of Gaston; one brother, Henry Wright of Moorhaven, Fla.; five sisters, Mrs. Lottie Watford of Laurens, S.C, Mrs. Mary Holland of Clinton, S.C., Mrs. Robin Jacks of Mountville, S.C., Mrs. Ethel Reams of Bath, S.C., and Mrs. Louis Chaney of Lincolnton; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
