Annie V Winston

Annie V. Creech Winston died Monday, Dec. 21, 1998. She was born in Micro, daughter of the late General Jackson and Cornealia Vann Creech. Mrs. Winston was preceded in death by her husband, Cameron P. Winston, Sr. She was an active member of First Baptist Church for over 30 years and served in Training Union Sunday School and mission work. Due to ill health, she became a silent member, but loved her church, neighbors, friends and family all her life.
Surviving: daughters, Virginia Tarantini of Kimberly, Idaho, Suzanne Marshall of Raleigh, Sarah Taylor of Sharpsburg, Page Winston of Rocky Mount; three granddaughters; one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bill Grisham officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home, Sunset Avenue, and other times at the home.
