Russell Dempsey Winstead, 60, died Monday.
Funeral Wednesday 2 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Rocky Mount, with Dr. Harold White and the Rev. Floyd Marrow officiating. Burial in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Surviving: wife, Mrs. Ruby Joyner Winstead; one son, Charles Russel Winstead of Rocky Mount; one daughter, Mrs. Ann W. Strickland of Rocky Mount; mother, Mrs. Rhoda L. Winstead of Nashville; eight brothers, William R. Winstead, John Winstead and Otha Winstead, all of Nashville, Aaron Winstead, Leaston Winstead, Horace Winstead, Norman Winstead and Cleveland Winstead, all of Rocky Mount; one grandchild.
