Donald Wayne Winstead

Donald Wayne Winstead, 55, passed away Thursday April 10, 2003, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. He was born April 12, 1947, in Dinwitty, Va., the son of the late Raymond Hugh and Minnie Gardner Winstead. He was preceded in death by a son, David Winstead; a daughter, Marie Winstead; a brother, Cecil Winstead.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 21 years, Tammy Winstead; a daughter, Dana Winstead of the home; four sons, Jeff Winstead of Raleigh, Donnie Winstead of Raleigh, Brian Winstead of Rocky, Mount, and Timothy Winstead of the home.; two sisters, Frances Morris and Barbara Ann Ball, both of Utah; four brothers, Floyd Winstead of Spring Hope, Richard Winstead of Rocky Mount, Jimmy Winstead of Spring Hope, and Terry Winstead of Portland, Ore.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, April 13, 2003, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Bowling Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 14, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, with the Rev. Mike Hendricks officiating.
