Harold Thomas Winslow, 64, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 1998. He was born November 8, 1933 in Nash County, son of the late Irvin Timothy and Margaret Baines Winslow. Mr. Winslow was a retired shop foreman with Peoples Building Supply and was a faithful member of Arlington Baptist Church.
Surviving: wife, Rose Collins Winslow of the home; brother, Howard R. Winslow of Selma. He was preceded in death by a brother, Irvin T. ‘Tim” Winslow .Jr.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home, Sunset Avenue, with Rev. Bill Tomlinson and Rev. Bob Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at 2908 Huntington Court, Rocky Mount. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arlington Baptist Church Building Fund, 1500 Bethlehem Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
