Dorethea Sykes Wilder

orethea Sykes Wilder, age 95, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020. Born in Franklin County, NC on February 13, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Sidney Wilder and Viola Sykes Wilder.

Dorethea was a caretaker for many people over the years and also traveled to care for others. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends and canning a variety of foods for the freezer. Dorethea was a very jovial and special friend to all she met.
