Priscilla Holloway Waddell

ROCKY MOUNT – Priscilla Holloway Waddell, age 76, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 23, 2022. Born in Halifax County, NC on February 17, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Irby Heath Holloway and Edith Hurst Holloway.

Priscilla loved music and loved to sing. Until her health changed things, she had the most beautiful alto voice you would hear. Priscilla loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. The greatest part of her life was lived for those she called family. However, Priscilla’s greatest love in life was her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!

Priscilla leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Dave Grogan and wife, Pam, of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Shannon Stafford and husband, Will, of Elm City, Joshua Grogan and wife, Alexandra of Zebulon, Aaron Grogan and Cassie Grogan, both of Rocky Mount; sisters, Jean Christenbury, Alice Barnes and husband Jerry; her brother, Danny Holloway and wife, Margaret, all of Roanoke Rapids; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Priscilla’s life will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with her son, Pastor Dave Grogan officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
