Darcey Thomas Vick

Darcey “Heybo” Thomas Vick, 93, passed away April 15, 2020. He was born December 21, 1926 in Nash County to the late Robert and Geraldine Vick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bessie Rae Vick; daughter Vivian V. Farmer. He was the oldest of eleven children of the Sandy Cross Community. Darcey served proudly in the U. S. Army during WWII.
He leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Carolyn Philips (Stewart), Joyce Winstead (Ernest), and Vickie Bone (Billy); six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Following the CDC guidelines, the service will be private. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be sent to Samaritans Purse.
