Russell Lee Tanner, 74, died Friday, Dec. 30, 1988 at Betsy Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dunn.
Born Sept. 23, 1914 in Rocky Mount, he was the son of the late William J. and Sallie Cook Tanner. Surviving: son, David Earl Tanner of Ohio; daughter, Cindy Tanner of Ohio.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Rocky Mount Memorial Park, with the Rev. Dale Coppedge officiating.
