Clarence T Shearin

Clarence Tomlinson Shearin, 86, of Aventon, died Tuesday, March 5, 1996.
He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Shearin. He was a lifelong member of Fishing Crrek Baptist Church, a retired farmer and store keeper. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Frazier Shearin.
Survivng are his five children: Kathryn S. Greene of Greensboro, Mary S. Rockett of Morganton, Marjorie S. Carter of Greensboro, Rudolph T. Shearin of Cary and Judith S. May of Raleigh; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home, Sunset Avenue, other times at the home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Fishing Creek Baptist Church, with Charles F. Middleton officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
