Annie Whitley Roberson

Annie Pearl Whitley Roberson, 90, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022. She was born December 20, 1931 in Nash County to the late Jim and Sidney Joyner Whitley. She loved her family, gardening, and her roses. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Marshall Roberson; grandson Brandon Lee Roberson; sisters Mary Whitley Richardson and Dumie Whitley Baines; brothers William “Bebe” or Bill Whitley and Jim Oliver Whitley.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Marty Roberson and wife Jackie; brother-in-law Eddie Roberson and wife Peggy.

Special thanks to caregivers Robin Clements, Amy Stokes, Jenny Wood, and Sandy Moore. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to hospice workers Elaine, Liz, Latisha, and Dr. David Browder with Community Hospice of Rocky Mount, NC.

Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 11:30-1:00pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Glen Hill and Rev. Tim Parker officiating at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
