Minister Lula Pearl Ricks, 80, of Wake Forest, North Carolina and formerly of Rocky Mount, North Carolina transitioned on May 30, 2024.

A Visitation and Inspirational Wake will be held for Mrs. Ricks on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Morning Star Church of Christ located at 225 S. Glendale Avenue in Rocky Mount, North Carolina beginning at 1:00 pm. The Entombment will take place immediately after the service at the Rocky Mount Memorial Park in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
