Betty White Quick, 71, died Friday, May 24, 2002. She was born in Craven County, January 3, 1931, daughter of the late John W. and Ethel White Quick.
Surviving are sister, Minnie Herbert of Red Oak; niece, Gail Saunders and her husband, Miller of Red Oak; nephew, Jay Herbert of Red Oak; great niece, Katelyn Saunders of Red Oak; great nephew, Grant Saunders of Red Oak.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, with the Rev. Charles Middleton officiating. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 27, 2002, at 8134 Red Oak Boulevard. Arrangements by Johnson Funeral Home, Sunset Avenue.
