William Fred Proctor

William Fred Proctor, 62, of 1141 S. Cambridge Drive died Monday in a Chapel Hill hospital.
He was a veteran of World War II, member of Second Presbyterian Church, Loyal Order of the Moose and was associated with Proctor Brothers Radiator Works.
A funeral was held today at 2 p.m. at Gay-Yost Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Everett Marion officiating. Burial was in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Juanita Denton Proctor of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Linda Johnson of Rocky Mount; one brother, Eddie Proctor of Rocky Mount; one sister, Lessie Mae Proctor of Rocky Mount; one grandchild.
