Joan Elizabeth Prince

Joan Elizabeth Prince, 56, died July 7, 2005. Born in Richmond, Va., she was the daughter of the late Luther Edward Prince. She was a member of the Life Changing Christian Outreach Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Angel Poland Johnson and husband, James of Whitakers; her twin brother, Julian Elwood Prince of Warrenton, Va., and brother, Luther Edward Prince Jr. of Richmond; grandchildren, Anthony, Austin and Angel Lea Carpenter of Whitakers; and her ex-husband, Joseph Thomas Poland of Rocky Mount.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2005, at Johnson Funerals and Cremations. Interment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
