ROCKY MOUNT – Julian Scott “Scottie” Pridgen, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Scottie was born in Nash County, NC on August 17, 1960. He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall W. Pridgen.

Scottie is survived by his mother, Mary Frances Baines Pridgen of Rocky Mount; his son, Julian Pridgen and wife, Ashley, of Wake Forest; his granddaughter, Addyson Pridgen; his brothers, Marshall W. “Woody” Pridgen, Jr. and wife, Kaye, of Rocky Mount, H. Stephen “Steve” Pridgen of McDonough, GA, Samuel G. “Sammy” Pridgen and wife, Brigette, of Rocky Mount, Michael B. “Mike” Pridgen of Sharpsburg; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Reuben Batchelor officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
